About:

Paulette S. Hartman is a crafts artist who resides in Los Angeles, CA. Her work explores Judica, material exploration, oceanic scenery, and beachcombing. 

Hartman graduated from Tyler School of Art in 2023 with a degree in Metals, Jewelry, and CAD-CAM. She worked on Jewelers Row in Philadelphia for two years, where she gained experience in design, material, and craft. Hartman has over six years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling software, including Rhino 7, Blender, Z-Brush, and Meshmixer, and possesses hands-on jewelry skills such as wax carving, casting, mold making, soldering, engraving, and stone setting. In the summer of 2024, Hartman was a studio assistant at Penland School of Craft for a workshop on Vibrant Color and Titanium Anodizing.

 

She is currently an Exhibitions Assistant at the Natural History Museum of LA County.
